Dr. Green trained in orthopaedic surgery at the University of California,San Francisco and completed a one-year fellowship in upper extremity reconstructive surgery. Dr. Green was an upper extremity consultant for the Western United States and the Pacific Rim while serving as a major in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Green has a special interest in upper extremity, knee arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery. He performs minimally invasive endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. He is a specialist in sports medicine and is currently a hand and wrist consultant for the Golden State Warriors professional basketball team. For thirteen years he was consultant for the Oakland Athletics Baseball team.
Dr. Green is an active participant and Board Member for Operation Rainbow's medical missionary work in third world countries. He is a Full Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco
